Welcome to the rock quiz!

These pages are dedicated to rock quizzes. There is a main quiz, but I do add the occasional monthly quiz and (if I can find the time) possibly a few special topics quizzes as well.

The main quiz has nine levels with 30 questions each. Questions get harder each level, but of course if you get a question about your favorite band every question may seem easy. As soon as you have completed a level you get access to the next one.

Contrary to most quizzes these days the answers are not offered as multiple choice. You simply need to type them in. So if you make a spelling error the answer is probably wrong. Then again, the answers are not case sensitive, and punctuation is ignored as well. And you will know when an answer is correct, because it will be shown very clearly on the answer sheet as soon as you press the Evaluate button. You also get unlimited retries, so you can always correct any mistakes.

You pass a level as soon as you have reached 22 correct answers out of 30. When that happens your level is upgraded. To avoid frustration on the final missing answers you will also see a button appear which enables you to obtain those final missing ones. Your computer will remember the level you last completed (unless you have disabled cookies) so you can restart without having to go through all the levels again.

The answers can obviously be found easily on the web (although this may be really hard on the final level), so please understand these quizzes are just for fun. No prizes, no hall of fame. Just try and reach the Advanced, or Expert level or even better. Enjoy!!

The additional quizzes always have three levels, with 10 questions each. With 7 correct answers you get access to the next level.
