Miles ahead! Yuriy Borzakovskiy celebrates as he finishes with a huge margin of victory in the 2001 World Indoor Championships in Lisbon. Using his trademark tactics of keeping a virtually even pace over the full distance he added the World title to his European Indoor title of the year before. Yuriy's time in the final was an impressive 1:44.49. Almost 25 years later Yuriy still holds five of the 25 fastest indoor runs of all time. |
